I710 Destruction of Jerusalem 70 AD… Prophecy Fulfilled

I710 Destruction of Jerusalem 70 AD… Prophecy Fulfilled The destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD is a well-documented fact of history, it is the climax of the War between the Jews and Romans which started in 66AD. On 10 th of Nisan 32 AD (according to the calculation of Sir Robert Anderson) Jesus presents Himself as the Messiah in what we refer to as the Triumphal Entry to fulfill prophecy. However as Jesus’ followers rejoice, Jesus beheld Jerusalem and wept saying: Luke 19:43-44 (43) For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast

Universal Submission – A Woman Rides the Beast

#I620 Is the world domination of Islam in line with the Vatican and “Illuminiti” or at war with it? Revelation 17:1-3 KJV (1)  … I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: (2)  With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. 1945 and the Generation of a King – Lisa Richards

1945 and the Generation of a King By Lisa Richards The year 1945 witnessed two pivotal occasions. World War II ended with the surrender of Nazi Germany on May 8 followed by the Japanese on August 15. Flushed with victory America was newly crowned as a global super power. The year 2015 will be the seventieth anniversary marking the end of WWII. For many this war has become a mere historical event of the past. In fact, the generation that witnessed the horrors of this war, who sacrificed their lives and fortunes to bring freedom to others is quickly

#I610 Christian Anti-Zionism

Christian Anti-Zionism By Glen Iverson Evangelical leaders promote antisemitism when they deny the biblical relevance of the Jewish people, the nation Israel, and support “anti-Zionist’ and Palestinian causes such as “Christ at the Checkpoint. ”We learn from history that we learn nothing from history.” George Bernard Shaw (Mat 25:40) And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. While some use the “least of these” to refer to those in need, we look

The Trumpet of Pentecost – by Lisa Richards

The Trumpet of Pentecost By Lisa Richards The first Pentecost occurred following the nation of Israel’s exodus from Egypt. They came to the foot of Mt. Sinai where God instructed Moses to consecrate the people and have them wash their clothes. Then at the sound of the trumpet they were to approach the mountain. This is significant because this is also the first time the word trumpet is mentioned in the Bible. “When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come near the mountain.” – Exodus 19:13. Therefore this is the first divine trump heard by God’s people as the

“European Life in Europe Died in Auschwitz”

European Life in Europe Died in Auschwitz By Sebastian Vilar Rodrigez (This is a translation of an article from a Spanish newspaper, March 28, 2006.) I walked down the street in Barcelona and suddenly discovered a terrible truth: Europe died in Auschwitz. We killed six million Jews and replaced them with 20 million Muslims. In Auschwitz we burned a culture, thought, creativity, talent. We destroyed the chosen people, truly chosen, because they produced great and wonderful people who changed the world.  The contribution of this people is felt in all areas of life: science, art, international trade, and above all,

Talmidim 2014 Lighter Side

What do Bible Believing Christians do on downtime between working with holocaust survivors, painting bomb shelters and filling food boxes in Sderot near Gaza? Have fun at Purim by reading Esther and acting out the different roles, sing songs on the Sea of Galilee, climb Mt. Arbel overlooking the Sea of Galilee (this is near a large Crusader battle that took place centuries ago that was portrayed as in the middle of the desert in the movie “Kingdom of Heaven”) and enjoy each others company. The group that went to Israel as a part of Talmidim 2014 grew together

Talmidim 2014 From Caesarea to Migdal

Day Three – Talmidim Travel Day – From Caesarea to Migdal (Galilee Sea) Today was a travel day made to order. It was rainy and windy depending on where we were on the drive. Our drive took us along the coast to the board between Lebanon and Israel. The coast was beautiful but the waters were very rough. For those that watched Seinfeld you could say “ The Sea was angry that day’ my friend”. We stopped for a picture at the coast under the border crossing and then headed for the town of Migdal. Migdal is a very

Talmidim 2014 Bomb Shelter

We spent March 13 cleaning and painting 2 bomb shelters in Kiryat Shmona near the Lebenon border.  The reality of the people living in this town is that there are over one hundred thousand rockets only kilometers away in Lebanon that Hezbollah is awaiting the order to launch.  These are Kassam rockets that are filled with shrapnel intended to inflect terror and damage, not strategic military strikes. http://www.jweekly.com/article/full/12649/bomb-shelters-drain-your-spirit-kiryat-shmona-residents-say-here/ Our group cleaned, painted and prayed that the shelters will not have to be used by the local residents. Imagine that your small town was just a few kilometers away from a

Talmidim 2014 – Community Hall Restoration

Day Two – Talmidim Community Hall Restoration Continued:  Today we returned to the Community Centre to finish the painting and clean. We hand painted each security bar on the windows white and cleaned the windows to the point that they were actually transparent. Five young men were sent to assist with the clean up and planting of new trees in the front yard. One of the young men named Dan was very friendly and shared his music with us through his phone. Dan’s mandatory military service is quickly approaching and he is looking forward to completing his service and

Psalms 126 A Song of Degrees: “When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongues with the singing; then said they among the heathen, the Lord hath done great things for them. The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears come again to rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Lessons from the Trees – The Story of Honi  The Talmud tells the

Day One – Talmidim   Community Hall Restoration:   Ten of the fifteen people in our group were assigned to a large Community Centre. The Community Centre has played many roles in years past; it has been a school, a daycare, place of prayer and teaching. The Centre appeared to have been abandoned for some time. Walking to the Centre the first thing you saw and smelt was dust and decay. The windows that spanned both sides of the room were thick with tap upon tap and stuck on dirt. Although clear glass the light barely penetrated. The ceiling

Talmidim 2014 Orthodox Jew Tour

Perhaps the greatest thing about being in the Land of the Lord is divine appointment and so far this trip has been appointment after appointment. Those of you that know Brandy, know that she is a researcher and she loves putting this skill to work when vacation planning. We booked a tour called the “Orthodox Jew Tour” offered by “Abraham Tours”. We really did not know what to expect because Orthodox Jews are very private people. The tour began at 4:30 at Abraham’s Hostel. The group was fairly small with three gentlemen from Singapore, a couple from Holland, an

Talmidim 2014 Intro

(Genesis 12:1-3 KJV) 1. Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2.And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. . The first question is why Israel? Israel has a special place in history

Israel / Revelation

Allegorical Interpretation

An allegorical hermeneutic does not bring forth Godly fruit. When you view what the Bible says as allegory, you are in a sense creating a license to invent what the Bible says. This usually happens when looking at the creation story in Genesis. Since all schools and the media promote evolution as fact and vilify anybody that doesn’t agree with evolution, many Christians look at the first 11 chapters of Genesis as allegory. This is not based on anything the Bible says, but what secularists who don’t believe in God say. The problem is that many times in the

Modern vs Mosaic Judiasm

The Jews rejected Jesus as the Messiah prior to the crucifixion. After this rejection, Jesus began to speak to the Jews in parables so they wouldn’t understand. He explained the parables to his followers in private. The prophet Daniel predicted the exact date that the Messiah would present himself as king but the Jews didn’t accept him as their Messiah. Because of this, Jesus wept over Jerusalem and pronounced a spiritual blindness over Israel. At this point his mission went from the Jews to the Gentiles. There are over 300 prophecies in the OT that are fulfilled by Jesus.

Israel

Purpose for the Diaspora

According the the Marian Webster dictionary, “Diaspora” in general means: “the movement, migration, or scattering of a people away from an established or ancestral homeland”. In regard to the Jews, it means Jews living outside of Israel. Although the diaspora can refer to Israel being conquered and brought into slavery by Babylon in 587 BC, they were sent back to Israel after 70 years to rebuild Jerusalem. At the time of Jesus, there were still many Jews living outside of Israel throughout the Roman Empire but Israel was still a nation, although under the control of Rome. Jesus predicts

Role and Mission of Israel

Abraham is considered the start of Israel as he is called by God. Matthew’s Gospel presents Jesus as the Messiah and traces Jesus’ genealogy starting from Abraham. Gen 12:2-3 (KJV) 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. The role of Israel is to bless all nations. Jesus is a Jewish King presented to Israel but after he is rejected by Israel His mission turns to the gentile nations. The Old Testament is the history of the nation of Israel. Even
